Regarding Civil Registration Services and Identification

At Brøndby Strand Kirke Office,  civil registration services will from now on pay extra attention to identity verification when assisting citizens.

It will no longer be sufficient to provide only by your, CPR number, name, and address.

You may be asked additional verification questions about yourself, as CPR numbers, names, and addresses are among the types of information that have been exposed in data breaches and could therefore be misused by unauthorized persons.

IMPORTANT!

Requests for Certificate of personal data (such as birth certificates and other civil registration certificates) must always be submitted first via borger.dk.

A request may also be made by using MIT-ID.

You can find the self-service solution for Digital Power of Attorney on borger.dk.

Certificates can be ordered for  and will only be released upon presentation of valid photo identification, such as a passport or driver's licence.
